Everywhere else I looked was showing $500 or more for this.. Anyone have any good/bad comments on the quality of this beast?
They also have 12 months no payments, no interest...

Oh, you need this?

Would that fit in my dorm room? (Talk about sad when a college student is actually considering it.)

I wonder what's the closest you could sit to this unit without it being a problem? I think it has free shipping and 10% off too! I wonder how much an extended warranty for this is and if you can purchase it from onecall? I'm assuming that it's a good idea to get an extended warranty for a unit like this.

65" is HUGE.....most living rooms are not sufficiently large enough for such a thing. It looks A LOT BIGGER in your house than in the warhouse retailer you saw it in!

My 53" is huge and I thought it was small at the time of purchase!

I sit about 7'-8' from a 55" 16:9 Mitsubishi and it's fine...'course the source is usually DVD or the few HD channels on DISH (or HD from Cincy when the tropo skip is going)

This Samsung is not a high quality HDTV. At 65", distortion can be seen at the sides. Only has 1000 lines of resolution, thus the picture is less clear than a smaller screen with same lines. For a 65", you should sit about 10-12 feet away. Yes, it's more screen for your money, but my advice its, spend a little more and get a quality HDTV that has more features and specs. Hitachi Ultravision, in my opinion, is the best for the money.
