I sure hope not. To me, easily the most useless "feature" (gimmick) ever put on smartphones. But I guess it's probably a given.

They added it to the s5 mini so most likely the note 4 will have it too.

Which carrier? From what I've seen, the number of drop calls is not proportionally worse than other current phones.

You must be high? The S-Pen is precise & exact like using an ink pen. Using your finger is clumsy & sloppy compared. Also, Having owned the Note 2 & currently 3, I have never misplaced the pen, because it has a built in slot for it.

Anyway, Unless the Note 4 can give me a hand-job in the parking lot, I will skip it. My Note 3 is just about the perfect device.

QHD, 5.7 inch and amoled sound like a match made in heaven to me. No risk of low contrast problems like on the LG G3, since amoled's contrast is always infinite. On 5.7 inch I don't think QHD will be a redundant luxury and the high contrast and color saturation will make fine-grained details easier to resolve on the screen.

It'll probably be like a shrunk version of the recent Samsung amoled tablets.

I think further shrunken bezels are a bit much to ask for as the Note 3's bezels were already very close in size to those of the LG G2, G3 and G Pro 2 and that's without sacrificing the capacitive buttons. I just hope they don't grow them again just to get gimmicks like water-proofing in.

Theres nothing really wrong with my Note 2 but the truth is I just dont need a massive screen. I'd be happier with something more pocketable that has better features, like waterproofing.

Am probably gonna scale down to an S5 or whatever is coming next.

For games I think a proper tablet would be better. Just found out theres a buttload of Square-Enix titles on the Play store.

Yeah true. Actual released devices rarely are anything close to concept renders. Just fun to speculate and hope for something a little more radical than what we know will probably be.

N3: 5.95 x 3.12 x 0.33 in
N2: 5.95 x 3.17 x 0.37 in

For the modest size increase (and very slightly less pocket friendly) I would rather stick with a Note. Personally I think the S5 could stand to be a bit smaller.

Well, their compact line is crap. They scale down the processing power and screen quality a great deal.

I had the Sony Z1 Compact briefly, it was very nice. It missed a lot of the good samsung software I have grown to love so eventually I returned it.

But we still need Samsung to come up with a high quality mini smartphone.

Yeah saw a friend's S5 in a case and it looked almost the same as my N3 in a case. I think I would've been fine with the S5, so that tells you something.

A friend of mine handed his phone (in a case) to me the other day with the old "Hey, check out my new phone". I asked him if it was the Note 3. It was a S5. I was shocked how big it was next to my wife's S3.

I live in Florence County, SC and have Verizon as my cell service provider. Since my first smartphone I have used Motorola such as the Droid X, Razr Maxx up until my latest phone that is a Note 3. In our county while using my previous Motorola phone, I only found one spot in a very rural area that had no service and would drop a call every time I drove through that area. Now I have a Note 3 and I have found that there are about ten to fifteen areas in the county, in populated areas, that I drive through that consistently will result in a drop call.
