I'm in the process of ordering 512MB of PC2700 Samsung RAM.

Newegg.com has Samsung Original DDR333 PC-2700 512mb CAS2.5 - OEM VersionDDR 333MHz True PC 2700 chip (Not over clock from PC-2100 chip) $149.00

Googlegear.com has Samsung 512MB PC2700 333MHz DDR Memory TRUE PC-2700 333MHz, 184 pins SAMSUNG DDR DRAM CHIP ON BOARD $104.00

Which one is the good one? I'm so confused!!

From my readings and searching, it's apparent that Samsung RAM should be on Samsung PCB. So are you guys saying the googlegear RAM is on third-party PCB? Or is there another reason?

Hey, does anyone have this RAM?
Does the Original 2700 run at CAS 2 even though it is listed as CAS 2.5?
Let me know, I am interested in buying this ram. Thanks.

I have the one from GoogleGear and it's running at CL2 at 181.5MHz FSB. I don't understand why people spend $50 more for real Samsung when the regular one is just as good with maybe 10% less overclocking ability. Is that worth $50? You decide.
