I have an HP Envy X2 with the same resolution - it really is not bad to my eyes.

Office depot has the Samsung and the HP on display - in my area anyway

I also haven't seen one of the new Ipads either so big grain of salt coming from me. Be nice to see them side by side.

I don't care for the 16x9 aspect though. Looks like I'm probably in the minority here.
