I am thinking of buying the following monitor:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16824001166

I wanted to know the refresh rates it supported so I went to the Samsung web site to find out the supported refresh rates for different resolutions. The problem is that all they had listed was the refresh rates for it's max resolutions and it's recommended resolution.

http://product.samsung.com/cgi-bin/nabc...rod_id=LE19ISBBQ&selTab=Specifications

Can somebody that owns this monitor, or someone with a link, tell/show the max refresh rates it supports at 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024.

Any help you guys give me is greatly appreciated.

I own the monitor, although the only one of those resoulutions I've tried is 1280x960, and the max refresh there is 85hz.

Do you think you could test out those resolutions and let me know what refresh rates it supports?

Do you like the monitor?

Any problems?

900NF is awesome. It's discontinued, but you get insanely nice resolutions/refresh rates.

I have a 700NF, and if you read the specs, the max refresh rates are 640x480: 160, 800x600: 140, 1024x768: 116, 1280x1024:87.... Iassume the 900NF would be quite similar. Plus the NF is a natural flat. DF is dynaflat... I prefer natural.

I own a 997 DF and love it. I got it for $175 off the DELL site. Anway-

The only resoutions I use are:

1280x1024 = 85Hz

1600x1200 = 60Hz

I usually use 1280x1024 on demanding games cuz the FPS inpact is huge when running 1600x1200.

But its a great monitor for a great price if you aren't ready to jump into LCDs

I have the 997 df as well, I mostly use 1024x768 because my eyes suck and I can't read small print. It goes to 100 hz at that res. Down at 800x600 the refresh rate goes up to 150 I think. The monitor's max res is 2048xwhatever although that is way too small for a 19" crt.
