Samsung 955df monitor problem

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 955df 19" monitor, and while I'm happy with it in most regards, the text focus seems to be off. Small fonts appear to be rather blury, and though I've tried messing with the focus controls, I can't seem to clear it up much. Anybody have any advice on how this could be helped?

Thanks

The monitor is about 5 months old, so I can't take it back to the store at this point. It's always been like this, I just haven't really used it much until now to notice it.

The video card is an ATI Radeon LE at 1024x768 resolution.

I've had the same monitor and the same problem. It's because of the shadow mask technology that it ultilizes. What I did was use the focus so it's only slightly blurry on the L and R sides of the monitor. When you're doing that, make sure that you open up something that has a lot of text because it's best to see the focus when seeing text.

PS: I returned it because I got a dead pixel 2 weeks after I got it. I would've exchanged it but Best Buy didnt have anymore so I had to settle with something else which I'm very happy with.
