Samsung 910T vs Dell Ultrasharp 1905FP

It looks like I can get either of these monitors for about $470. I do mostly graphics / web design work with a bit of mostly RTS style gaming thrown in. The Samsung has a higher contrast ratio, but the Dell is rated a bit faster. Any suggestions on which way to go?

I'm using a 1905 while typing this and like it a lot. Image is sharp and ergonomics are excellent. No dead pixles on mine either! I'm not a good judge of ghosting since I don't game much but I do notice some bluring when scrolling though web pages real fast. Not a problem for me but I don't think hardcore gammers that are freaky about ghosting would be happy.

One thing I'm not so sure about is color reproduction. PC World rated this monitor highly for color but someone else around here that sounded credable roasted it. My only slight complaint is that colors look a little washed out. Frankly though, most LCD's look that way to me. Is there any good way to check color reproduction on a monitor? One thing that does look good to me is contrast ration. Blacks are much blacker than a Hyundia I also receintly bought.

FWIF, the 1905 is made by Liteon if you're interested.

Good luck.

Ever choose between the monitors? I got the 1905FP today. I too do lots of graphics. It is hard to get used to but seems promising. No dead pixels, etc.

How about you?
