I just tried it for fun and got this

Your email address is not valid for redemption of promo code BTENDJJ22.

But Yea I just bought an SSD with 30MIR this would of been better, but w/e thats what happens in the tech world lol

This promo code was sent out to select number of people. Don't know they were chosen. Anyway, doesn't work if you didn't' get the email.
Don't worry, I just emailed them a request to slam the 512gb 830s down to m4 levels because everyone is waiting. No doubt they'll comply.

Geeze I was looking at these this morning too. Need either 2x Samsung 830 or M4 for a new build. 256gb seems more affordable for mirrored drives, but I really think I will need 512gb for double duty as a family PC.

It's a code you get after you make a purchase at newegg... It's tied to the account that just made the purchase and can't be used by anyone else...

there was a great Shell Shocker deal on the Kill-a-Watt P4460 meter today, so i threw it in my newegg shopping cart. then i noticed that the Samsung 830 128GB models were suddenly back in stock, so i threw one of those in the cart and used the 20% off coupon. about an hour after i made the purchase, i thought about how i really don't need another SSD, and how the Samsung 830 was just an impulse buy on top of the Kill-a-Watt meter. then i thought about the fact that, with prices dropping the way they are, it'll only be a [relatively short] matter of time before the Samsung 830 128GB/256GB models will be sub-$100/sub-$200 (before coupons and rebates). so i cancelled my order LOL. i figure by the time i actually need another SSD, prices will have dropped substantially yet again.

newegg brings out the worst in me when it comes to impulse buying...but i found the strength to overcome it today hahaha...

I'm doing the same, playing the waiting game for my next SSD drive, but it seems like the deals have flattened out for the time being. The last one I bought a few weeks ago was about $219 (for the 256gb) and now it seems like most places have bounced the prices back up. I might need to go with the M4 instead before they start increasing those too.

I'm waiting on my SSDs. I have a Vertex 2. I don't have a SATA 3/6gbps mobo, so a newer drive wouldn't be that beneficial. Instead I'm going to just wait and overhaul my i7 920 rig with a new system at some point and get a new SSD then.
