Samsung 2443BWT vs BenQ G2400WD

Hello!

For starters, i can't decide if i want to get a 24" or 22".
Currently i have a NEC MultiSync 1980SX (have been using it for the past 4-5 years).
It still works great, but all the movies now are 16:9, for programming it's no longer ideal, etc.
Basically, need to upgrade.

I've been researching this for a while now, basically in the 24" i came down to these two choices:

Samsung 2443BWT
BenQ G2400WD

Are there any big pros/cons of 24" vs 22"?
Is it possible to run those monitors on resolution 1280*1024 WITH the black strips on sides (without stretching), or is this what 1:1 pixel mapping means?

Thanks in advance.

I got that Samsung today and I like it alot. I haven't seen the BenQ so I can't say which one is better. And yes you can run 5:4 and 4:3 resolutions with/without stretching the image.
