Very similar effects are due to inconsistent response time and the 204B is relatively poor in the response time category so I wouldn't be surprised at all. The OP made a smart choice to switch over to the VX.

204B has Samsung's last generation TN panel. I don't know what is exactly faster than that.

It's a pretty slow TN (maybe 30 ms.)

From the speed disadvantage compared to the MVA+overdrive matrix the bad bottom viewing angle and dithering just aren't worth it especially if it's putting more stress on your video card. Overall the VX2025WM looks cheaper on Froogle as well. The VP2030b is a good 4:3 20" monitor. I just found it odd people were knocking him for switching to the VX2025WM as long as widescreen isn't a problem.

I'd sooner think you're the little boy....read the whole thread. See what I have said? I have a 7800GT. I'm not upgrading any time soon. I never had tearing on my Sony LCD, even hanging around 60-70 FPS. I see very little on my Viewsonic. I turn on VSync, even with triple buffering, and sometimes I'll hit down to 30 FPS in counterstrike...which is a bit on the laggy side.

Just a BUNCH of things added up to me returning it. Am I happy I did in the end? Yes. I got the 2025 cheaper, it looks just as good when tweaked, and is a bit kinder on my GFX Card.

Again, I'm NOT ignorant. I've read this whole thread, I returned it knowing why I was having issues. I don't uch enjoy it when people come into a thread, don't read the whole thing (I've explained before why returned it.) and then post on that. If it were a 10 page thread, fine. But it was a 1 page thread, and short posts contained within...you had no reason to not read the whole thing. Don't post unless you plan to be of some help.

As for widescreen, its fine by me...I've had fun getting some games to work in it rightly, but otherwise I love it.
