Samsung 19inch LCD with 8ms response $379 after MIR at BB

I saw in the Best Buy ad for this week that they have a 19 inch LCD with 8ms response listed. The model number is 930B but I didn't notice it at Newegg. I guess it's a new model? It seems to have both DVI and analog connections. The price shows $469 but I guess there is a $90 MIR. Since people seem to rave about Samsung LCDs I thought it might be worth a look. 🙂

Samsung 930B

compusa has it for 350 after mir 🙂

does anyone actually have information on this monitor? im at a lack of it. it's 8ms, dvi ready, 700:1 contrast, and 1280x1024 @ 75 native. dont know much else in terms of quality :\

If anyone is interested use the $10 off PER $100 spent

BB Save $10 on Each $100 Spent

That brings it down to $429
-$90 rebate

$339 after coupon/rebate plus tax on $429

Rebate expires on 04/09

Reiniku - There is no 930b on compusa's site
did you see it in store?
There is the 912 and the 915(oos) and both are 25ms whereas the 930b claims 8ms
SyncMasters at CompUsa

i was merely browsing through the ads and it said new samung without a model number, maybe i was mistaken.

Perhaps the 12th?

noticed that while viewing the specs on samsung.com >_<, 16.7 on the LD90+ right (was hoping it would at least match it -- wanted all black :b)

guess so. i was looking at several ads and may have confused it for the 930b on sale at circuit city as well (gotta love sunday papers)

I've been waiting forever for a 19" Samsung with 8ms response time and DVI input, and now my dream has come true. But of course, nothing is perfect, as Samsung is planning to release a whole slew of 8ms monitors, even a 6ms one!

I think the Syncmaster 750P sounds most promising, and I cannot wait for the 950P to come out. And I'm still trying to figure out what the difference between the 940B and 930B is, specs seem the same, but I'm sure the 940B must be better in some aspect, I'm just not sure

Here's another site with all the pics posted on one page, but you gotta translate it with google or babelfish to make any sense of the specs:

the imagequest l90d+ uses the same panel as this one, i thought. then how does it have 16.7 million and the samsung only has 16.2

looks like the 940b will be the one that has the same panel as the l90d+, since it says it will probably have a tn panel

he corrected himself. what're you going crazy for?

sorta shotgun posting, but i sort of maybe figured some things out. it may really be possible that the 940B is basically a 8-bit panel 19" lcd rather than 6-bit such as the 930b. looks like the reason the 930b is 6-bit is because of the panel used which is actually 4ms (grey to grey) panel with a newer magicspeed technology (magicspeed II) than the rest of their new lineup. sounds like a gaming monitor to me :b
