I am moving from a CRT probably but was wondering should i spend extra to get the 4 ms response time ?


BTW i am really scared ill hate ghosting etc :(

In the case of 17" or 19" lcds panels with less than 8ms are overdrived and tend to suffer from color uniformity loss and artifacting. I'd stay away and stick to a regular 8ms 17" or 19" or a 12ms if you're going higher in size.

I'll say this much: If Samsung deems a display fit to market, it's usually a good product.

I will tell you thins I got an ACER 17' 6ms and I have no ghosting problems what so ever. I hear that anthing under 8ms will have no issues


what does artifacting and color uniformity loss mean?
