yeah...we had 12 of these chairs at work, very very comfortable...but becareful....it's easy to fall asleep on them, too comfy...
 
Does anyone know what they are filled with: padding or cheapo foam?
The B&M store knows less than nothing and I need a good long lasting chair. :-((

Yeah the store doesn't know jack about the chair. I just wanna sit before I buy because the chair I got from bestbuy has cheap foam padding and it's already dead after 3 months. now that's lame cause the metal mounts for the screws on the bottom are sticking into my butt. That's not cool.

I called my local store and the sales guy knew less than nothing and

Cripes! there is 1 remaining at a CC 1 mile from my house, and I just bought a leather chair 3 days ago! Not as good a chair, but I payed more for it. I hate this board!

While shopping earlier in the week, I visited 3 Circuit City B&M stores looking for this chair and no one had it in stock. 🙁

Employees, at 2 of the 3 stores that I inquired at, looked at me like I was a nut and said "We don't have office furniture!" 😱

Checked On-line and there are none available in my area. :disgust:

Looks like Circuit City should rename itself Stupid City!!! 😀

I walked in to Office Depot a few days ago and saw a Contemporary Leather Chair, Black/Chrome SKU# 575281 for $119.99. (Check the website)

It looks nearly identical to the Samsonite that is unavailable at Stupid City

I am a large man & was able to sit confortably in this chair. The legs are metal (not the cheapo plastic w/chrome leg cover) 🙂
Also, unlike the Stupid City chair that had Plastic arms, this one has chrome arms. 🙂

It looks & feels like a quality chair. 🙂

I just ordered it and I used the $20.00 on-line coupon available here and its the same price with coupon as the non-existant chair at Stupid City 😉

I picked up my chair today and took all of 5 minutes assembling it.
It is a very good buy and very, very comfortable.

I would highly recommend it to all.
I was/am not disappointed with my purchase.

Got my chair today too. Here's the deal. Its really heavy. The picture seems to show a nice grey one, but the one I ended up getting was black so if you are dead set on grey make sure you get what you want.

The chair looks more cushy than it actually is, but its still nice. It has the hard foam padding, but still somewhat soft.

The CC I went to in Appleton, WI did not have it out on the floor, but they did have an internet portal to their site nearby, so I pulled up the chair and the screen that showed they had it in stock. They clerk found it and I got it real quick.

All in all, I recommend this chair if you can find it. Easy to assemble with nice looks and fairly comfy. You have to fiddle with the controls to get it to lean, but once you get it working, it leans back alot for you loafers.

EDIT: Appleton, WI (54911) still shows in stock.

I've been using this chair for the last 5 months and I love it. It's really comfortable. At the time, I got it for $149 at Costco/Price Club in Southern California. I highly recommend it. It has good back support and a solid feel. $99 is a great price for it. Good stuff.
 
When I checked circuitcity.com this afternoon, there was only one chair left in the Madison, WI metro area. I hauled ass after work to my local CC to make sure I got the last one and I did! This is a a very comfortable and good-looking chair. Plus, it was a snap to assemble.

This forum rocks.

A friend of mine wants to buy a leather office chair, so far this one seems to give you the most bang for your buck.

Those of you who bought and have sat in this chair for hours on end while scouring for the latest deals and playing CS.

What do you think of it? How would it compare against these Office Max chairs? OM has a $25 off $100 new customer coupon less 4% eBates less free shipping makes a pretty good deal.

I personally went out and bought the last one in South Carolina. I was intedning to use it as my computer chair for my workstation, but I realized that the seating position was too reclined. I felt like I was in a LaZboy. I took it back and looked around for some other deals. Low and behold Office Depot had a sale on a Nice leather chair for 99 bucks. I picke dit up and have been enjoying it.
