Someone posted this on newsgroups, I have not confirmed it:

Sam's has CDRW discs rated 4x-10x for $10 a pack of 5. This is
the best price I've seem. the brand is Verbatim, but I know they don't
actually make them. But they work fine at 10X in my Plex 12/10/32A.

I ordered 3 5-packs from buy.com and used a $10 off $30 from
techbargain, and total w/shipping came to 32.30. Would be about
the same w/tax for me, and then I would have to pay for the Sam's
membership fee.

Can anyone give me some info on what makes a good CDRW? I know all about CD-Rs and the desirability of pthalocyanine, etc. What about for CDRWs? Are these Verbatims worth a look? Thanks

outpost.com also has the Verbatim 10x CD-RWs. It's a little more at I think $12.95 a 5-pack, but then there's free shipping. An alternative for the more lazy members:)

Samsclub.com has them listed for online sales as well, SKU # 825031. $2/disc is the cheapest I've found on the net for name brand ones and is a good deal. It's still tough to find 10X RW discs, name brand or no-name brand.

For no-name discs,
CDR4Less.com has 10X spindled for $1.59 -$1.99 each, depending on quantity. CDROutlet.comlists 10X for $1.50 each, regardless of quantity, but they do tax Florida orders. I haven't tried either of these companies or their discs.

You can use the $10.00 off $50.00 at walmart.com to get gift cards, then go buy some CDRW's. Maybe you can use the coupons at Samsclub.com to get $10.00 off, although I do not know who would need that many CDRW's.

Video editing on the computer allows you to put your movies onto disks.

DVD players prefer CDRWs over CDRs.
