I saw it today. It 's a small thingy.
The price @Sams seems a little steep for 12.1" laptop

u know in the laptop world..bigger doesnt always mean more money

What I meant is that for 12.1" display, the price is high regardless of other components.
One can upgrade memory, HD, but they are stuck with the display pretty much...

Dude, the point of a 12.1" display on a laptop is that it is small. These laptops are like half the size of many other laptops. If you don't want a 12.1" display on a laptop that's fine, but personally, I buy a laptop for it's portability. If I want a big screen I'll work on my desktop. I want a computer I can carry and use anywhere. This is a pretty good deal for that kind of a computer!

Nobody cares why YOU buy laptops . YOU buy it for portablility. 14" laptop is portable enough for most people. 12.1" is very, very small. $900 for this is a no, no. And I keep thinking that.

no i think you have it wrong, most people do get laptop for its portablity. not for its size..if i wanted something big, i would have gotten a laptop replacement, or just a plain desktop. who the hell would want to lug around a heavy laptop all the time anyways. $900 for a 4.xlb laptop is a great deal, its even hotter if u get it at sam's since it comes with a dvd+/r writer. its so common now days to find a sub $900 laptop, u can probably go to bestbuy right now and find one on sale.

I had a couple big and heavy laptops. I was more than happy to get this little thing. VERY portable, and it does everything I need. More importantly, it does what my wife needs and she thinks it is really cute

Anyways, I think it is kind of foolish to say that buying this is a no-no for everyone. Maybe it is a no-no for Bigi, but it was just what I needed. This was a great price compared to the Dell laptops of the same size.
