Who else is excited to see this match tonight? I hope Ol Pete whoops Roddick's whinin little ass. I can't stand Roddick, that whiner complains about every freaking call, I hope ol Pete still has enough juice left to crush this kid.

Back on topic, yes I'm looking forward to this. It seems like a classic "changing of the guards" match-up in any other sport. I'm thinking many people will be cheering for Sampras as a last hoorah. I'd like to see Roddick get all riled up though. Maybe Good Ol' Pete will show a little more emotion as well.

looking forward to it. i'd like to see roddick win, but even more so, i'd like to see another agassi v sampras match at the us open

Anyone know when / what channel this will be broadcast on here on the West coast?

I assume it will be delayed and on USA, but you never know.

lets keep this discussion on topic please. Sampras has been on his game all throughout this US OPEN. Roddick had a little trouble getting rid of Corretja, and I think if Sampras serves big and keeps the rallies short he has a good shot at winning. I can't wait for Roddick to start whining and complaining at the line judges, etc ("are you stupid, are you blind, how did you not see that call!"). :)

This will be one helluva match no matter who wins. I'd like to see a Serena VS Venus Williams match too :) Not really a match, since no matter who wins, it's still one of the Williams

Yeah, Andy has that bruised foot, so he probably won't be as quick. They're both such strong servers but I think if Pete keeps his head, the youngster will lose it.

I really do like Andy Roddick, but I like Pete more. :D

i want to see some agassi/sampras games... last years quarters was a great match.

this was a bit disappointing... but yeah, rod looked like he choked.... and both of them were complainin about the ref... some of those calls weren't very good i think.. but regardless, just a young kid chokin again.. and no backhand
