lol yeah, 40 HR, 103 RBI, and 2 homers in the last 2 games, he SUCKS! 😉. granted he hasn't hit fewer than 40 since '97 but that's still a pretty impressive offensive year.
 
His bat looks like a huge freaking club lol. You look at sosa and then look at alou and they are both very different people batting wise. I like alou a lot more than sammy though.

I've never been a fan of Sosa after that offseason where he gained like 70 pounds and became a power hitter. You can't gain 50+ pounds in under a year of solid muscle (using "conventional" means). It's impossible (interpret that however you wish).
 
Sosa is a legit player. Corked bat or no corked bat, the guy has incredible power. (a corked bat doesn't do that much for you... it doesn't add 50 feet to your longballs, despite what people think)
 
hahahaha he uses a corked bat and then gets put in a commercial on hitting the ball the farthest, how does that one work........cant remember what kind of commercial it was though

And a body full a Roids? I wouldn't have thought about it, but when he came out all against Roids, and said the majors should be tested, then when the writer from SI (Riley) asked him to take a test, and he subsequently blew up in his face and said no way. Makes you wonder?
