past couple of months i've been making veggy burritos for snacks.

wheat tortilla, salsa, cheese, non-iceberg leafy greens. thought it was healthy?

but i've also cut down on gym from 3x/wk to just saturday.

so same weight but looking fatter means:
loss of muscle (which weighs more than fat)
but since i'm the same weight, it means by body fat % is higher

am i close?

You're spot on. You lose muscle mass and gained fat, which drastically increased your BF %. Sounds like you're eating ok, but you need more gym time.

1. You aren't working out as much, so you lose muscle mass.
2. Those burritos are likely very low on protein; if the rest of your diet is similarly low on protein, that may also contribute to the loss of muscle mass.
3. Less muscle mass, same weight = more fat.

Well, no, not necessarily. One meal isn't making the difference. You need to reevaluate your activity levels and your diet as a hole. One meal is not decreasing your lean muscle mass and increasing your body fat - it's your lifestyle.

As I said, it depends on what your entire diet looks like. You could try recording your food on a site like thedailyplate.com or fitday.com and see how much protein/carbs/fat you're getting, as well as total caloric intake. See the sticky at the top of the forum for a good guide to diet & exercise.
