Same-sex schools

That would have been hell. I seriously would have killed myself if I had gone to an all guys school. Probably half of my friends in high school were girls.

You get just as much action in the long run, but you don't have to stare at during class.
No more boners in math class right before you get called to work a problem out on the board.
What male in high school needs more distraction from the oposite sex?

I went to an all-guys high school. There weren't very many cliques like there are in other high schools. We also had a uniform (blazer, slacks and a tie). It sounds like torture but really it was pretty damn fun. Anybody that's been on a sports team or in the military I suppose can imagine the sort of fun a guys-only school can be. It happened to be beside an all-girls school though. My high school sweetheart was in that school. I've got a lot of good memories of sneaking into that school😉 However, at the time, all I could think about was girls so high school seemed like torture. In hindsight, I had a good time.

It has been shown that girls benefit greatly from all girl schools anyway, as they are given equal opportunity and such; guys still get more attention from the teachers in a traditional mixed gender type school.

That being said, I would hate to be in an all guy school, ugh. I even greatly dislike it that my dorm seperates genders by floor, this means that the girls floors are generally clean and nice smelling, and the guy's floor that I have to live on smells like a crusty jock strap.
I get along much better with girls too, don't have many male friends.

I have a friend who went to an all male boarding school, and he loved it. I know that now, in college, he has both male and female friends, but he hangs out with me and some of my gal pals and we all get along great. Different strokes for different folks - some people can do really well in an environment like that. I know a few overly boy-focused teen girls in high school who would be way different if their entire life didn't revolve around showing off for the guys.

When I was coming out of jr. high, my parents tried to convince me to go to an all boys school. I refused and I'm glad that I did. Not only did I learn a lot about math, science, etc., I learned a lot about the fairer sex in high school 😉

I went to an all guys high school, and I liked it. We wore uniforms, and that only made the "I really dont care what I look like coming to school" all the more prevalent. I went in with my shirt and tie, pants, and bed-head nearly everyday. As did half of my classmates (the bed-head thing, we all wore pants 😉 ) . It did suck not seeing any girls for 8 hours, but that made you appreciate it all the more when you were out of school. The real downside was our cheerleaders were the rejects from other (co-ed) schools, so they were all fugly. One upside was gym class: full contact hockey, football, basketball (or at least I played basketball full contact), etc. Anyway, I think being an all guys high school made it a little more relaxed.
