The emperor owned 2 of them. Maybe status to them isn't about price?

Let's try not to embarass ourselves further, please.

Wtf are you talking about? How much for evidence do you need?

Think you can read this title?:

http://www.iht.com/articles/20...2/05/business/ad06.php

Kindly stfu. I was only making the point that other countries have different models.

It is really not necessary to use harsh word such as "wft". Our firm been working w/ Chinese Companies for years and I have been to Asian countries more than I can count. One thing we should realized is in asian culture, they do NOT conduct direct conflict / criticism which believed to be impolite and unacceptable.

Yes, few U.S. business articles published few years ago may sound like they do love it. (people got interviewed will automatically praise the company and their product w/ high remark) In fact, I haven't seen ONE corporate excutives driven a Buick, other than Lexus and Mercedes.

Now, sniperruff who came from China also point out Buick is not the "status symbol", yet you insist on proofing your own statement, let alone calling their president ... "emperor".

Of course, you are entitle to your own opinion. But, if you can find a single article stating Buick has "better" status than Toyota, Lexus, or Mercedes in China, I will be more than happy to annouce my apology to you.

I don't know if it's status is higher than toyota/lexus/mercedes, I'm just saying that it held in a higher regard than it is in the states. I've taken my knowledge from the sources I've posted. If they're wrong than I suppose I am too.

I didn't know I wasn't supposed to 'proof' my statement. I'm new to these internet arguments.

Also emperor is their word not mine. ;)
