Samba Problemy

Hi Guys , I've upgraded from FC3 to FC4 recently , and had samba + winbind working correctly with my internal windows 2003 domain.

After upgrading to FC4 I am unable to connect , to any of my shares via a domain username . Using the anonymous connection I am unable to list the shares.

When the connection fails : I get a NT_STATUS_NO_LOGON_SERVERS

However the commands wbinfo -u and wbinfo -g , wbinfo -u and getent passwd seem to be returning the correct info

I'll post the smb.conf , when I get off at work

Thanks

Did the samba version change? Did the samba config change? Is a firewall running where there was no firewall before? How about SELinux?

noc , sorry for losing this post through the cracks

There seems to be something odd with How FC4 samba works , I've actually redid another box from scratch and came up with the exact same problem . SELinux turned off , smb signing on the w2k3 side and client side turned off . Firewall completely disabled . Reloaded said box with FC3 as well as CentOS 4.1 with the exact same configuration file and was able to add the server to the domain .

I think the way I am trying to join the domain , through net join rpc might be the problem .I've fianlly got some free time , so I'll check it out .

Thanks For the Reply
