I am about to move off campus to my first place of my own and have started to look into what my network will be. I will have a couple roomates and at least one DSL line into the house. I am thinking of getting a Linksys router to handle the DHCP, VPN, NAT, and the Firewall but I know those things can be handled from a linux box. I will definitely have a Samba server which will be the WINS and PDC server as well. Is this a good idea or should I have one GOD box that handles all of these services? I know if there are multiple DSL lines I will have to run some type of load balancing service and then I am pretty sure I will use a Linux box to run everything. The physical layout will be 10/100 switched LAN with WLAN as well.
Thanks for your help guys.

1 box for firewall/routing, with as many Nics as you need for the WAN side.
For multiple Wan interfaces and load balancing, I don't know how you would be able to use the linksys at all.
Seperate server for DC, DHCP, and Samba.
My two cents:)
