Could have made that same mistake just as easily if the man had been white, blue, green , purple, or yellow. Can tell you now many times I've gotten Nick Nolte confused with Gary Busey, or Patrick Swayze and Kurt Russell.

Agreed, but I think Samuel is just having fun with it and the results are entertaining. When i heard this on the radio at first i did not even link Samuel Jackson to that other movie trailer played during the Superbowl.
 
He didn't look angry at all. He looked like he took the golden opportunity that the stupid anchor gave him and ran with it. He seemed amused more than anything to me.

I read an article about this incident yesterday and from the article it sounded like Jackson was pissed. Then I later watched the video and it was obvious he was just ribbing the guy and like someone else said, more amused than anything. Crappy writing I guess.

Is Sam Jackson still considered A-List? I feel like he hasn't really been top tier in years, just makes shitty movies and commercials now. Too bad 'cause he used to be awesome.

Avengers / other Marvel movies? Those are huge films. Sure his role is small, but he looks like a badass doing them.

I too think he was having fun. He's so famous he can laugh at anything. He's not working his way to the top anymore.

He is the highest grossing actor (as in the combined gross of his movies) of all time. There is no one more A-list.
 
All this really shows is how retarded the news is getting. Guy didn't do his research and got caught with his pants down. SLJ is not a guy you want mad at you.
