I'll have to give it a try next time I see some - I still have a bottle of Sam Utopias I received as a present to open too.

its GOOOOD! drank about 4 6 packs of that stuff this week, pricey at 8.00$ a pack.

worth it though, i hope it is a permanent beer!

I like Cherry Wheat as well.....good stuff. A lot of my friends dont like it and call it a fruitty beer. I just call them fruitty people.

I'd also recommend Sam Adams Old Fezziwig Ale. It only comes out around Christmas time, but man is that good stuff.

But for the rest of the year, yeah, Cherry Wheat is my favorite Sam Adams beer.

Totally agree! Cherry Wheat FTW!

Some of my friends actually hate it. They're silly.

I actually hate it myself. I have had a couple drafts of it the bar a few times and I just do not enjoy it.

If you dont mind me asking, what do you normally drink? Sam Adams takes a little getting used to if you all you drink is Miller/Bud. Just wondering, not trying to bash you or anything.

I actually enjoy the regular Lager Sam Adams has. The Winter Lager is absolutely heaven on Earth... I just don't enjoy the cherry wheat. Regularly it seems I have been drinking Molson Golden since it is delicious and cheap at 8 or 9$ a 12 pack but some of my other favorites are Lowenbrau, Warsteiner, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, and the Souther Tier Brewing Phin and Matt's Extraordinary Ale (APA made at my local brewery).

/me wonders if I can get that here in Dallas, hmmmm.

don't you dare! you get shiner bock all over the place there....and i can't get it almost anywhere up here in mass🙁

and btw, man laws apply to cherry wheat - DON"T FRUIT THE BEER!!!

almost all other sam's are awesome - the double & triple bock are amazing if you can find them, the boston ale is great, black lager is great also and brown ale is pretty good. the light is probably the best 'light' around! but no, no, no to fruiting the beer!🙂

a little off topic but has anyone tried that sam adam's longshot beer?

well which longshot? the longshot is a beer that was created by home brewers, so there are like 4 different longshots each year/season when they choose the best that are submitted for the contest.
