One person typed their review with the very same keyboard, can see how well that was working out.

Pretty funny, and a great review:

"Cons: I am typing this rview with this very kyboard. This is not a joke and I am not deliberaely trying t miss keys. As you can see, som lters are mising. That's how ba this keybard is. I am trying to hit the keysas har a I reaonably can without pounding on the keybard."

I don't buy new keyboards. IMHO good ones haven't been made in the last decade or so. Typing this from a vintage 90's Micron made with real switches, with real touch and motion, and likely cost new 10x what keyboards need to sell for now.

LOL:

Pros: It doesn't release a noxious gas that kills you.

Cons: Everything else. The range on this thing is about 5-6 feet at most, and even then, it takes nearly a half second to respond to anything, if it does.

Typing is an absolute nightmare, half the characters show up and the other half are doubled.

After about 2 weeks, the mouse completely died.

Not a deal at any price I'm guessing :)

I personally haven't had any good results with cordless keyboards/mice except with Logitech. Their Bluetooth models have always worked very well, and they actually include the bluetooth adapter needed. Noticed the cheaper models from other manufacturers just assume you have one.

1)$15 is so little money it's worth it for the mouse and a backup keyboard
2)There's more deals than just that one
3)If you know of a better deal post the link
4)I said you be the judge and if you don't like it don't buy it

1) Most of us geeks have a box full of old keyboards and mice, would never buy "backups"
2) They were all kinda useless
3) Why? This isn't a competition
4) OK!

Never again will I buy a cheap no name keyboard. What I find is the spacebar on these keyboards never work right. I won't by anything but a Logitech or Microsoft.

Why? Many keytronic keyboards are >>>> ms/logitech. In fact my first hand experience have found more than a few models from ms/logitech not to cream of the crop.

It's not worth having a "backup" keyboard at all unless you have a decent backup keyboard....
And you can get a cheap optical mouse for like $5 or $6 easy.....

Only mechanical keyboards can be considered decent to good.

All traditional cheap membrane keyboards are garbage, and scissor switch keyboards are at best, halfway decent.

How do you figure that about a backup keyboard must be good? If you have to do something for work immediately and your keyboard dies it would be good to have a backup one. As for $5 or $6 mice I'd like to see that.

Well, since keyboards are plentiful and easy to find cheap, why have a crappy backup when you can have a nice backup?

Well, there is always the keyboard that's built into the laptop ...

But as far as having a "good" backup keyboard .... I do a LOT of typing on a keyboard. With a shitty keyboard my accuracy goes way down, so I type like 1/3 the speed, I wouldn't have ANY time for neffing or trolling if that was the case!!!

Anyhow, I have never had a keyboard die, but, I always have a "backup" in case a friend brings a PC over for Lan games or in case I am assembling a new pc, or in case I wind up fixing or upgrading a family member's PC and I bring it over to my house for a couple of days....

I just think it's a waste to have a crap keyboard....

Now, as far as mouses go .... at home, I'm picky about having a good mouse for games, at work, I don't use the mouse all that much... I had a mouse with a ball in it up until 1 or 2 years ago ... hehehe
