I am trying to find the median salary for a job I may be offered soon. Problem is that when I search for the job title, its an either or. For example....if the title was 3 and 4 guru, all I can find is 3 guru and 4 guru and the salaries differ by 10K and the job decription is the same. Do I just expect to get or aim for the higher salary?

Also, what other sites besides salary.com are good for salary research?

I think if you're asking this question, you're probably not a level 3 or 4 anything, more likely a 1 or 2.

no, not level, I am just using 3 and 4 as names. replace 3 and 4 with doodle and wiwi if numbers seem misleading.

Like Support Analyst VS Business Analyst?

The company should have the median for your market. Mine does.

Trusting the company on salary issues probably isn't your best bet.

He asked for other places to research it. Where is your suggestion?
