Saitek Eclipse II

Does anyone know if this keyboard can be easily disassembled and washed under hot running water like the original version? I love my Saitek "Executive" Keyboard. Every time it gets dirty, I can take off the top plate with buttons, and literally scrub it with soap or laundry detergent! The paint on the buttons is so good that it never wears down and never comes off. I get a new shiny keyboard every time.

I really liked mine (no longer have it). It had a good feel, plus the lighting was pretty sweet for LAN parties (I used it with my modded LAN party rig at the time). It wasn't "perfect" though, because IMO the fatal flaw was that the knob on the keyboard controlled a dimmer for the lights while buttons controlled the multimedia volume. I would have rather the knob control volume because that would be more intuitive for me, plus the lights aren't very bright so almost no point in dimming them.

Still, I'd buy another one, but it is OOS now.

I've got the Eclipse I and it is the best keyboard I have ever had. I've had it for about 5 years now. Rock solid.
