Ok, I bought my son a Saitek Cyborg Keyboard and hooked it up, and it is typing the wrong letters.

Here is what it does, Ill retype what is above again without correcting the letters....

Ok, I bought my7 son a Saitek Cy7borg Key7board and hooked it up, and it is ty7ping the wrong letters.

I am having problems with my Saitek Cyborg Keyboard. It is typing the wrong letters. I have tried to fix it with no with no success.


If I don't correct the wrong letters this is what happens below.

If I press......E....My edit menu opens at the top of the browser. F and file opens....H and history opens.


Suggestions ?

did you set it to dvorak antecedently?

uh, that's not typing the wrong letters, that's inserting letters when they shouldn't be.

sounds like the board itself is fucked up.

pressing a key is shorting out the neighboring key.

looking at your presented text, 7 corresponds to Y. every time Y is pressed, a 7 follows it. in like manner, 4 corresponds to T, and 8 corresponds to I.

i dont know how to fix it other than recommend that you return it.

i dont know how to fix it other than recommend that you return it.

It worked fine when I unplugged it and plugged it back up. Then after a few hours, it messed up again. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesnt.

I think ill be sending it back really soon.

Yeah, if you've already tried uninstalling/reinstalling saitek drivers, I'd say RMA.

I have just recieved an RMA number.
