Saints' Williams diagnosed with social anxiety disorder

Like Wyst said, it's not really a surprise... MILLIONS of Americans have it, and they only call it 'being shy'... and unfortunately don't get it diagnosed. And even more unfortunate is because it is probably one of the most successfully treated disorder out there.
 
i personally hate being around people i don't know or more than 1 or 2 friends i do know......

it's probably not a disorder but for the sake of argument, lets say it is. I wouldn't want to be "cured" of my "disorder" because I prefer not going out and partying and being really social and all that stupid crap anyhow.....

I don't understand why so many people think it's bad....
 
its not just 'being shy'. its pathological reticence. more like taciturn. his case
could be worse because most sufferers don't exhibit success in their professional
lives.
