Beat Saints Row 4. The end game mission with the Key was a pain in the butt.
Downloaded Saints Row The Third and was annoyed to find its basically the exact same thing minus super powers.
Did a little digging on the internet. Apparently the idea of a Matrix style Steelport was originally a big DLC expansion to saints row 3 but it got so huge they decided to make a totally separate game, along with the alien-takeover plot.

My biggest complaint with both games is that too many abilities unlock at the same level. Like the unlimited ammo. All gun types become available at level 50. Would have made much more sense to stagger that stuff from level 46 thru 50.

Also Saints Row the Third seems a lot more sluggish cuz I cant sprint or fly or blast enemies with super powers. Definitely played these out of order. Both games seem kinda small cuz there really isnt much to do on each block. Everything feels sorta generic after a while.

Funny, I went through 3 first, and can't really get into 4 because it has that "uh, this is just a big DLC" feel to it. I can understand going from superpowers to not, everything feeling slow, but I thought 3 was great.

3 didn't really jump into bizzarro world like many have claimed. It really was as straight as SR 2, just far more polished and far more fun, imo. The guns were great and I enjoyed the upgrading, though it is far too easy to get into god mode if you start with all of the DLC and you aren't watching your upgrade path.

I skipped the final tiers of damage and infinite ammo and instant reloads and all that. Also kept the DLC weapons in storage until late in the game.

Also, the national guard Bulldog should be put in your garage, it has a nice machine gun. when pimped out with reinforced bumpers and tires that thing can survive a lot of heavy combat.

Clearly, you have not experienced my pimped-out street sweeper. That thing is beast!

--seriously, if you haven't modified one of those, you need to do it. :D
