Some stupid manager hired this 55 year old woman at our tech bench. She knows NOTHING.

She was telling me about how she was trying to find a coffee pot that would do everything.. grind the beans at a certain time, turn on at a certain time, make a certain amount, etc. etc.
I told her she wasn't looking for a coffee pot.. she was looking for a wife..

she looked at me kind of funny..

So she fits right in at Worst Buy then, right? 😛

at the best buy I work at most of the permanent people really know their stuff. There are the seasonals that don't know jack; but they will all get fired anyway.

Hate to tell you but there are a number of coffee pots that will grind the bean in the machine and then turn on at a specified time. They aren't cheap but they're available. I don't know if you can restrict how much it makes though...unless you are manually adding the water instead of using a water line.

How did they figure to put her as a Tech?

Are you insinuating that because she's 55 she doesn't have the skills needed to repair PCs? Or at least the skills that Best Buy requires?

way to make friends.... And, I think there is a coffee maker that does that.
A lot of people like to grind their own coffee beans. (Makes a better cup of coffee than most regular brands to have freshly ground coffee beans, imho)

more morons at bb!
just what that place needs.
and by the way there is a coffee maker that will do all that stuff.
the g/f has one
