put it on the roof of the truck and tie it down with rope, and make sure you drive on a windy and rainy day.

dismantle the computer and ditch the case. carry the rest with you abroad. buy a cheap case and assemble it again.

disassemble computer ... take parts and put each into seperate boxes ... put peanuts to fill in gap and VOLIA! ... ship to Germany!!

The only parts you should be worrying about moving around inside the case is your video card, HSF, and memory. Remove those items and leave everything else intact. Ship the box and the removed items separately. Or just ship all of the boxes inside a bigger box to keep everything together.

that's the best way. there are acceptable ways too that's more economical.

I'd take those along with the RAM, CPU and video card(s) in your carry-on. It's better to keep the most expensive parts of the thing with you in case the rest of it gets messed up. Also USPS should be the cheapest way to ship.
