safely remove hardware

hello all.
well i am having trouble with my raid i am using 2 WD 36.4 raptors in raid 0 no problems booting or otherwise.. but down in the task bar i get the icon for" safely removing new hardware" and it is pointing to my raid set-up.. the two raptors.. i am running winxp,sp1. and it runs fine otherwise but i would like to know what is wrong... i cant get rid of it.. i installed the mass storage driver and the nvidia raid also during installing windows everything went smooth and very fast ... thanks again
