I know I've seen this here before but for the life of me can't find it nor do I remember the fix. My hard drive is showing as a removable device. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks MUCHO.
 
check the setting in the administrative tools...???


control panel... admin tools... computer management... disk management.
 
what do you mean there is nothing there? Are you saying that your disk is not showing up under disk management? Or that there is nothing there that can help you change it?
 
SATA devices show up as removable since they are hot swappable. Forgot where the setting was to remove it from being listed as a removable drive.
