I heard that 1.85v is probably the max this chip can handle
any more and this chip will probably fried in a matter of months

is this true?

I am currently running it at 1.7v @ 11.5*200

I don't go above 1.750 volts no matter how cool the processor is. I've said it many times before, it's not only high temps that shorten the life of processors... high voltages will break down the processor even faster. Voltage is electrical pressure, and when you raise the pressure and keep slamming the CPU, it's life will definately be shorter.

Yeah... might hit 2.4 if you go to 1.85 volts... maybe 2.5 if you go to 2.0... not worth it in my opinion.

dlt3c 0310xpmw

pretty good chip
it can run at 2.1g at 1.5v:Q

anyways I can run prime for 10hours no problem even at 1.68v at 2.3g
i just added abit more for "percaution"

at 1.75 i should get 2.4
and 1.85 i should get 2.5
but i dont know if is worth it

no worth it imo unless you dont really care if it dies (whcih doesnt seem to be the case cuz ur asking ;) )

i can get 2200mhz at 1.65v
2300mhz requires 1.75-1.8v...is the extra 100mhz gonna do much for me? hell no, so why bother?
pretty much same case for u..
