Safe to stack a Linksys cable modem & router?

I mean physically, on top of each other. They seem made to do it with the little interlocking feet but I'm concerned about heat buildup.

I've had my router and modem stacked for a few months now, and haven't had any problems yet.

Should be fine, but if you notice any random errors or problems, that would be the first place I would look.
