safe to have 2 office laser printers in my office?

There are 2 big office printers in my office room at work. One is color and the other is b/w. Not sure about my office size but the printers are about 4-5 ft away from where I sit. Is this safe for my health?

No. I would contact OSHA immediately, and let them know you sit in close proximity to not just 1, but 2 laser printers.

Nope.

You'll die a horrible death when the two laser printers realize that it is two on one in your office. It was nice knowing you...

No, you will die by the end of the year. Should've read the health warning on the box when you bought it.

I'm sorry that no one has given you a real answer.

Make sure each printer is encased in a lead enclosure, this will ensure that no excess radiation is taken in by you or any of your coworkers.

I've actually wondered about the emissions from lasers. I recently replaced my inkjet w/a laser B&W and it produces some funky smell (ozone?) when I print. 😛

Emissions probably aren't a problem, though. But something you might not have considered is power use. Lasers require a lot (500W+) while printing, so make sure you don't plug them into cheap power strips or other devices that can't handle the load.
