Safe to attatch two powerstrips together?

As I am lacking an extension cord, I was wondering if it is safe to attatch one power strip to another (using the first strip to provide more length). Just wondering, as I feel particularly lazy right now and have no desire to go to the local Rite-Aid

I wonder if they planned it like that to limit your electric usage. :) You were probably on the same circuit as another room, too.

NO DON'T DO IT! YOU'RE CRAZY TO DO IT! YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT COULD HAPPEN! YOU MIGHT SUCK UP ALL THE ENERGY AND LEAVE NONE FOR THE REST OF US!

...yeah, should be fine.

It is a fire hasared, but it is safe to do. As some one said you are still limit to the amps that the first strip supports.
