Safe temps for a 9400

I know this is usually a GPU specific question, but I am relatively new to oc'ing and need some advice.

I have a inspiron 9400 and oc'ed the mem/core to 374/909 on my 7800go from an original 250/800. My temps hover around 56-60 when idel (with i9kgui) and around 75-83 (with i9kgui) under load from CS:S, HL2, or BF2.

Is this a safe temp? The fan program I use (i9kgui) reports about a 6-7 degree temperature lower than the nvidia drivers do.

In general what is the safe range for a GPU under load. Thanks! I have looked everywhere and no one really talks about the safe ranges.

83 sounds too high, i'd run it at all times

That is a bit warm, but throttling doesn't kick in till around 120c for those GPU's. However since it's in a tight cramped space, thats probably heating up all the other components around it as well.
