Safe Temperatures

I dont know if it belongs here but...what you´d say are safe temps for:

1. Athlon 64 3200+ Winchester
2. Geforce 6800 GS

I need to know because I want to know if Im going too far with OC

1. Safe upt to 1.55v, risky 1.55+, extra voltage will take life out of the cpu, but the cpu will probably outdated by that point. I don't like to run temps over 50C, a load temp of 48C is my preferred 24/7 limit.

2. I am not sure about the 6800 but most video card gpu's can run up to 70C to 80C load with stock coolers. I use an Arctic Cooling Silencer 5 on my EVGA 7800GT (500/1120) and load temps never get above 55C. Really quiet too . Also, EVGA's warranty allows 3rd party cooling solutions as long as the card does not become physically damaged...

Regarding the Winchester I also prefer to stay under the 50s, which in my case (high voltage of 1.55-1.57V) is not easy...But with the watercooling I max out @49-51C so I am fine...
However, the maxtemp for the Winchester core is rated at 70C, so everything below is fine for AMD Therefore no big deal running in the mid-end 50s, what my Zalman 7700Cu gave me before

GPUs can take more...as you can see in the nVidia driver tab, the shutdown-threshold is like 127C (with the new drivers even 145C!). So you can be fine even in the 90s.
However, I also prefer to stay in the low 70s max, so I adjust my VF700s accordingly...
