What is a safe temperature for the Asus Rampage Formula? It's reporting right now, without any OCing, 55C on the "System" temperature. (Ai Suite)

Also, what the heck is up with the E7200 having a SUPER small heatsink? It's like, way way smaller than the old ones. O_O What are stock voltages on this CPU as well, I am running it at 1.1040V right now... Is that unusual?!

Do you mean the chipset temp? 55C for NB is ok on stock cooling.

The vcore is about right for E7200. FWIW, mine is at 1.15-ish in cpuz.

The Stock heatsinks for the E7200's are small because they produce less heat, typically.

I wouldn't use it though, there are plenty of affordable aftermarket HS's out there that will work 200% better than the Intel one. That and a little of your favourite TIM will lower temps alot for you.

I would also suggest, if you haven't already, replacing all the TIM on the NB and SB, and add a fan to the NB HS. Asus used somekind of TIM pad on the NB, it's horrible. My NB runs at 35c and my SB runs at 30c. And I have this baby OC'ed to he** too.
