Safe Mode is so fast!

So my video card hard locks my system within ten minutes of startup and has a date with an RMA as soon as I get in a cheapo temporary video card.

I'm booting into Safe Mode to see if the video card still locks up the system in here, and boy, is it fast 🙂

Firefox tabs from my previous browsing session (about 20) pop up and load instantaneously, boot-up is really quick, and programs load SOOOO much faster now. uTorrent used to take maybe 3 seconds to load, now it only takes 1 second. Windows Explorer with my 11 drives also loads instantly.

Well something is wrong with your system if safe mode runs really nice for you. For me, safe mode is slow and ugly.

lol, the lack of my monitor's native 1600x1200 resolution worries me.

Last time I tried Safe Mode, I couldn't go online, nor could I get audio from video. Otherwise I would probably boot from Safe Mode every time.

going online, you need to choose the second option, Safe mode with networking.

Yeah... there are three Safe Mode options:

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt
