Well I was thinking about the typical generation that is about 30 years, so 10 would be 300 years, before the US was even a country.

But maybe you mean generations of your family, and 10s implies more than 1 10, so I'll say at least 20 generations is what you mean by 10s. That would mean the average parent in your family was less than 9 years-old when they gave birth to the next generation, if they owned the land at the start of the Texas revolution. That seems fairly unlikely to me.

But, you completely skipped over the part were I asked if you would be fine with your neighbor illegally grazing cattle on your personal land? I am guessing you wouldn't like it, but since you are scared of the government it is okay for someone to illegally graze on the government's land in your mind.

Would you be okay with BP drilling for oil right the middle of Yosemite Valley or on top of Old Faithful, and refusing to pay for the use of the land?

family has been in what is now northern Mexico, and what is now Texas since the early 1500's

yes i'd let a neighbor graze cattle on my personal land, in fact i do for a couple of months a year already.... makes for great green grassy fields.

You mean when the cops after Dorner filled a truck that was the wrong make, model, color, and was occupied by two women who did not look at all like Dorner with holes? Or when they crashed in to and shot at another vehicle that was the wrong make, model and color? You mean the one that ended when cops threw a "burner" in to a cabin which summarily caught fire to which they reacted by being true professionals and saying "Burn that fucking house down" and "Fucking burn this motherfucker."

Yes, they're doing so much better lately.

Civilians still don't understand the military, and the military still doesn't understand civilians.

You're arguing my point. If some rednecks with AR-15s want to take a stand against the government, they're going to get fucking crushed, and probably burned alive.

And why do you support a man who is a liar, a thief, a bully and a racist? And if you believe in him that strongly why don't you head on up to his little ranch and 'protect' him from the tyrannical federal govt.?

What bundy did was a victimless crime.

I simply oppose prosecuting someone when there is no victim.

Bring forth the victim!!!!!

We are the victims and yes you to.

No, I refuse to be a victim just because someone says I am.

And thought you were going to go tug boating.

Tuesday evening I heard a company was hiring. I called the first thing wednesday morning, they said they only accept in person applications.

I made up some BS excuse to take off from my job, drove 2 hours to fill out an application and hand in resume. Was told thank you and the application would be given to personal department. Felt kinda disappointed after 2 hour drive one way.

Wrote a letter last night to the personal coordinator, going to mail it to several other companies friday or saturday.

In other words, I am trying.

And men who skip out on child support.
Now, now- child support isn't a victimless crime. As TH told us, the victim in child support is the man who is forced into slavery to provide for the child he was responsible for creating.

WE THE PEOPLE are victims, we have been harmed, and we deserve justice, and our nation will wrought justice upon our foes.

When our commons have been harmed, we have been harmed, when taxes are not paid, we are harmed. The institution of government is all that stands between us and the evil wolves like Bundy that would wreak havoc upon this nation of innocents.

Burn them all I say, and let justice shine like a beacon of light, and let it be known that the USA is not to be fucked with!

That does explain why he thinks the thief Bundy is the victim. The government was trying to enslave Bundy by enforcing the contract he signed then violated.

I bet you say the same thing about tax evaders.

When the tax system is not balanced, yea. Why should companies like google and facebook have a lower tax burden than everyday working people?

And men who skip out on child support.

My body my choice.

Forced servitude is slavery.

Bull crap.

Just because you feel like playing the victim and crying does not mean I feel the same way.

What bundy did in no way directly affects me.

Texashiker's defence of Bundy is earning the same credibility as the Russian separatist commander's claim that the people on the Malaysian airliner were dead for several days before it was shot down.

Grazing cattle on unused land does not make me a victim.

If his cattle came onto my land and ate my garden, yea, that makes me a victim because I am directly affected.

If his dogs killed my chickens, that directly affects me.

If his cows broke down one of my fences, that directly affects me.

Some cow eating grass or weeds thousands of miles away does not affect me.

It does not affect you, it does not affect the next guy. What bundy did was a victimless crime.

He owes me money, he owes you money, he trashed my land, and he trashed your land. He is a thief and needs to be brought to justice. Those who took up arms to obstruct justice on this thief's behalf also need to be brought to justice. We are a nation of laws, not a nation of "whatever happens to fall out of TH's head this morning."

How much money does bundy owe the government? Even if it was $1 million, that is only what, 1:350.

Yet we give billions in foreign aid away?

I am pretty sure the fighter jets obama gave Egypt are worth more than $1 million.

So what if his cattle grazed on public land. It did not affect me.

I'm not though. Those police terrified a large population in order to find someone who in large part didn't. I don't have a red neck and I don't have any firearms because I live in the People's Republik of Chicago but I'm more concerned about militant police and the criminals that my beneficent overlords won't allow me to protect myself from than the ebil terrorists they reference every time they want to give the police more materiel.

The FBI's uniform crime statistics database specifically catalogs crimes against law enforcement officers, but there is no such qualifier for crimes by law enforcement officers.

To your point about getting "fucking crushed," the whole force of our military is unable to stop the violence in a country the size of Indiana.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

That and someone saying a lot of them were naked dead on the ground after the airliner was shot down, so they must having and orgy when it happened.

You be surprised the silly things people post on the intertubes.
