Safe for Radeon to run at different core/mem speeds?

I just added ram sinks and a blue orb to my Radeon 64 VIVO. Using the same speeds I can o/c to 232/232 now. I get artifacts after that. I was wondering if it would be safe to o/c my core more than my memory. Not that it is a "safe" overclock now, but would there be any added problems besides shorter life span?

It's safe, the Radeon core is fully capable of running asynchronous core/mem clocks.
