Ok, going to get to work on my Venice soon (tomorrow hopefully!).
These chips default at 1.4v. Is there a general rule of thumb when overclocking for the safe zone (ie. not frying the chip)?
Assuming good cooling, I know generally, 1.4v-1.5v is safe. I also know temperatures are most important, and keeping around 60 Cel. (or less) under load is desirable.
But, what if you're in the 1.5v-1.6v (or higher) range, yet keeping your temps very reasonable? Are you still at risk then?
