Saddest video ever for me today

Linky

Summary: My gf showed me videos of guinea pigs (and I've gone through plenty of them on Youtube already) because she seems intrigued by my guinea pig who she's taking care of for a few days. Well her videos turn into weird stuff like snakes eating giant animals, so curious me searched "Guinea pig eaten" and this is what I found.

I nearly cried (no, not really, but I was uhmm disturbed) hearing those guinea pig squeals. The only time I've heard my guinea pig do that was when he got a shot. I am sad. Time to go back to Prison Break =[

Edit: Cliffs: It's a guinea pig being eaten by a boa

It's a rodent being eaten by a reptile. Nature.

Sad? I don't see how it could be. Actually, I think it's pretty fucking amazing and cool how that skinny snake can fit the entire guinea pig down its throat.

edit: oh man, I forgot how much I hate people. From the comments of the video that one was a response to:

I know what your next video will be you fucking your mother everyone will disopprove and you will say its okay to inbreed and then youll say doctors, government, and scientists bring it on.

I don't care if it's a rat, lab rat, etc, but guinea pigs are actually popular pets. So I suppose this forum would respond kindly if I posted Koreans eating dogs? Nature right?

Heh, I've eaten dog.

edit: My view is killing animals for food is fine. Torturing animals or causing undue harm to them is not.

Who cares if they eat dogs? As long as they're not my dogs of course.

We eat pigs, cows, various other animals. How do you think they sound when their neck's are slit? Are you a vegan because of that? It's the natural world at work. If we weren't modernized the way we were, we'd still be hunting animals to eat like we did back in the day.

Another way to put it is this: If we were to stop all of these animals from eating other animals because you think it's so sad and cruel, what do you think would happen to those other animals who could not longer feed on their natural food? They'd probably die unless they could adapt to eating grass. Even then, I have a pet pod of grass here at my house and I can tell that they have feelings too. It would be so sad to see my precious grass eaten 🙁

Not as bad as animal torture videos, like slaughterhouse videos. Yes it is just nature but I have to say I do feel little sorry for the poor little guy.

Just don't go to places where these little guys were bred and were originally used as a food source before being used as pets in some places.

They are supposed to be very good eating.

The video was both saddening and awe-inspiring. I've owned both snakes and guinea pigs, and I must say that snakes are the more astonishing pet.

Yeah it may be nature but I took no enjoyment in watching that.
It is kind of unpleasant hearing it make that kind of noise.

When I first got my ball python, he got live feeder mice. It wasn't particularly fun.

I found out about frozen feeders, and he took to them, no problem.
No risk of injury to the snake, either.

It may have just been the cooking style, but I found them gamey and greasy. Plus, almost no meat.

Agouti, on the other hand, is quite tasty.

took a while for it to die 🙁

At least it was painless.

Pretty much, I've seen from nature documentaries much, much more unpleasant ways for an animal to die. At least strangulation is relatively painless and quick compared to some other carnivorous killing methods.
