He'll probably mention how the U.S. millitary tried to cover up and gloss over his gassing of the Kurds. If I am correct the reports on the incident by U.S. millitary top brass pointed at Iran as the source of the gassing. Then again this is old news. The only people who will be shock will be the Iraqi's as they discover how their liberators help Saddam out during their brutal oppression. In the end they'll hate the monster as well as it's creator and master equally IMHO.

How about because he and his regime routinely *murdered* and *imprisoned* the people of Iraq for their OPINIONS and the differences in their beliefs about the invisible man in the sky? Will that do as justification for you, or does he have to feed YOUR father feet-first into the plastic shredder?

Quote: WolfDog,
All of which the US has done in the past. In fact we have imprisioned people in the guantanamo base without any legal recourse. Without any process. Theres democracy and justice for you. Murdering someone is all in the opionion of the people doing the murdering. The fact that we went into Iraq without justification would mean that the soldiers that died on the Iraqi side were "murdered" by the US troops. Since they were trying to defend thier homeland. Not to long ago the gracious Americans were burning crosses, raping, killing blacks just for a difference in appearance. Not to mention "murdered" and betrayed on death row for crimes that they never committed. All of the blatently terrible things that the US has perpertrated against foreign bodies in the past makes no excuse for what Saddam did, but it doesn't excuse us from the exact thing either. There are too many to count, yet seem to be pushed aside with the "US is always right" attitude.

You left out quite a few major wrongs done in our past American history.
The moral to the story should be:
Because of the truth of our basic nature, we should have caution in the future as we procede into the affairs of foriegners.
Along with other things: full government disclosure, freedom of information act, etc.
Accountability & honesty from our government is required or we will continue the wrong doings around the world
and they will retaliate in any way they can. If legally stoping us in a nonviolent way doesn't work,
violence will be the result. If open warfare doesn't work for them, you can expect gurillia warfare.
We call it terrorism now.
Our government seems to play by the BIG DOG RULES laws of nature.
They can blatently lie and get away with it because there is nothing we can do about it.
Bush is taking over our government & we are loosing our rights on a constant basis.
I fear if he is re-elected, we are really going to be infor it, as in worst case senerio.
Right now, he has to be nice to us inorder to get re-elected. After that, there's nothing stopping him
from stealing our freedom, and global war. He's not smart enough to avoid it, & he is stupid enough to start it.
