look at the ridiculous #'s sacramento put up:

Christie 22 pts (9/14 shooting) 12 assists 3 steals
Bibby 21 pts (9/12) 11 assits 1 steal
Peja 22 pts
webber 16 pts 8 rbs 5 assists
Miller 21 pts 16 rbs on 8/10 shooting

39 assists total for the team

Lakers better bring their A+ game if they are gonna take Sac town out

The Mavs just made the Kings look better than they really are today because honestly, the Mavs suck at defense.

With Malone back, the Lakers will own on Sac. Shaq just has to not have a terrible game, because really the Kings can't defend him.

LOL, sacramento beat LA on the road when they we missing web, miller, and bobby J.

not to mention a 7 game series will help out sac

also, its not all about a lack of D from dallas. sac is the most unselfish and best passing team i have had the pleasure of watching

im not too worried. l.a. always plays like this during the regular season. i predict the same old story...l.a. plays a weak regular season...turns up the heat in the playoffs...webber doesnt come through for sac in the playoffs...but i wouldnt mind a kings/lakers showdown for western conference championship...that would be sweet. i would prolly be at the 1st game at staples of that series.

its not a matter of the lakers playing poorly, its a matter of the kings playing better than anyone else. what do u mean about web in the playoffs? he didnt have a chance to redeem himself last year, and now they have miller to back up webber if he isnt playing well. not bad having an all star backing you up

I'm thinking the same, unless the Lakers face the Rockets/Dallas in the first round, which might be tough for them. If they don't get the Rockets they'll get either Memphis or Denver the way things look right now. And both are easy wins in my mind, plus a 7-game series will let the team gel even more before they have to face somebody really hard. If they have that team chemistry working, I have no doubt they can go all the way.

Still they have nobody to defend against Shaq or Yao for that matter.

yea...but i remember 4 years ago...same situation...3 years ago...same story...2 years ago...you get the picture...but actually, i will admit this, and i dont do this often (esp. in front of my friend whos a kings fan), but im kind of worried. i hope history of the past few years will work in the lakers favor, but i just dont have a good feeling this year. im thinking kings will carry too much momentum into the playoffs, and webber is overdue for a performance. a huge part of me hopes the lakers go to the finals and whip whatever weak eastern conf. team is thrown at them, but i dont know, something just doesnt seem right... almost like, the kings are overdue... :sigh;, i hate myself now...

No, the Kings just exposed Dallas for the team it really was.

You know who covers Shaq the best in the NBA? Divac does. When Shaq and Yao go at each other they never can stop each other, they both score. Vlade really gets in Shaqs head with the whole notion of flopping and such. Shaq is afraid to drive that shoulder through on his way to the basket because he doesn't want to get the offensive foul. No one in the NBA can stop Shaq physically, he's just too strong, but you can play mental games with him.

i agree...like i said, they always seem to turn it on in the playoffs...it appears everyone will be back healthy...now we just need a man to hit that critical game winning shot with the absence of horry...who can fill the shoes...hmmm....fish? george? luuuuuuuuukkkkkke? :D

If Luke hits a game winning shot in the playoffs we'll never hear the end of it from his dad. :p

Dallas will never win anything meaningful until they commit to playing defense.
