How common is it to die from skin cancer? I thought it was one of the milder / most treatable forms of cancer. Wouldn't it be easy to cut out, and maybe put a skin graft over the area?

Who wants to coach this?

Depends on the type of skin cancer. It also depends on when it discovered and how rapidly it is progressing. Plus once the cancer has spread to other parts of the body, you are looking at a rapid decline in chance of survival.

I had a teacher who recently had basal cell carcinoma. It's the most common kind of skin cancer and is very treatable in a fashion similar to what you're thinking. If you get something like melanoma which is the most deadly form of cancer, your very survival depends on getting it diagnosed and treated quickly.

Meh, why should I give a rat's ass about someone so vaguely related to the team? I like to watch the games on Sunday but giving a shit about these people you've never met is stupid.

Because Bill Cowher is widely respected throughout the NFL, and knowing he just lost his wife is saddening.

Why should any of us give a rat's ass about the shit you post? None of us do, so why are you even speaking?
