Sacred 2

I liked Sacred and played it on the computer when it came out. Now I see Sacred 2 is due out in early May on the PS3. Would it be better to get this on the PS3 since I have one or go with the computer version. I did notice that the required specs for the computer version is 256mb video card but mine are both 128mb cards.

With the specs on your signature I'd stick with the PS3 version.

The video cards seem to be the only thing that is shy of spec (video memory). I guess my machines are getting long in the tooth!

Update:

Downloaded the demo and it would play on my system even with a video card rated at half the memory shown under hardware requirements. I was able to set the game to high quality with low, medium, high and super high choices. Game ran ok, a little stuttering in cut scenes.

One frustrating thing is you can't rotate the view. I'll try some more later.

The demo is a buggy mess, the final game in comparison is a crystal bowl containing holy water.

Ok, played the demo some more. Rotating the point of view camera was mandentory for me so glad that is doable. I only wish they would make it so you could right click the mouse and drag the view around. Other games I've played has this and its very convenient.

Despite my video card having 128mb memory, the demo runs and looks good if maybe a little sluggish but not bad. I like the game and the 3D environments is an upgrade over the original Sacred.

I have 2 computers. On one, the game is buggy and crashes to desktop at least once an hour and often more. On the other there are no issues. Luck of the draw or something.
